NEW ART NEWS... and a contest too!!

It's all about baby wishes, new growth and keeping busy this summer.

Three new designs are proving very popular and making people chuckle taboot. We like to promote chuckling at Eddy's!

'Unfurl'

is by our good friend and multi-media artist Jeanne Brennan. Her love of plants is so beautifully captured with this uncoiling tender little fern, perfect for the gardener in your life.

'Peace Baby'

comes to us from David Iles of Langely. His pudgy, sweet, diapered baby making the peace sign is funny and wonderful. Let's face it - who doesn't love babies and who doesn't want peace? Duh!  

'Juggling Act'

is something to which we can all relate, right? In her design Michel Tsouris gives an overloaded lady some special multi-tasking talents. Don't drop the eggs! Chuckle On!

YOUR DESIGN HERE ....

This month we'd like to announce a competition for a new design. It is open to all ages, talents and disciplines. The mission is to design a Whidbey Island themed t-shirt. We'd like it to represent all that is so terrific about this island - or perhaps just one of your favorite things. Think about how you can capture what Whidbey means to you, what it might mean to someone who has left and misses home, or what might appeal to someone who has never been to this fabulous place (poor dear). Your original handmade design should be brought or sent to Eddy's on card measuring 8.5 x 11 inches (our address appears at the bottom of your newsletter). Paint, collage, mixed media, potato prints - anything goes ! Include your name and contact info. YOU could win a fabulous crisp new $100 bill, a free t-shirt, plus all the love and accolades that go along with having masses of people wear your design on a soft organic Eddy's t-shirt - WOWEE !
